Bare Arctic 7mm Shorty
The BARE Arctic 7 mm Shorty is a hooded sleeveless shorty wetsuit (often called a “step-in jacket” or “hooded vest”) designed to be worn over a full wetsuit to increase insulation in very cold water.
It covers the torso and head while leaving the arms free, adding an extra thermal layer for cold-water scuba diving. This configuration is commonly used in places with 40–60 °F (4–15 °C) water temperatures.
Divers often combine it with a 7 mm full wetsuit (called a “7 on 7” setup) to significantly increase warmth.
